Terms of service

1. Account terms

• You must be 18 years or older to use Holderlian
• One account per person (no duplicates)
• Email verification required for all accounts
• You're responsible for keeping login credentials secure
• Notify us immediately of unauthorized access

2. Buyer ID and Seller ID

• Buyer IDs start with B, Seller IDs start with S
• IDs are unique and non-transferable
• You cannot create orders using your own ID
• IDs help prevent fraud and identity theft

3. Fees

• Buyers: No fees ever
• Sellers: 2.5% of successful transaction amount
• Fee deducted before payout
• No fees for cancelled or refunded orders
• We may change fees with 30 days notice

4. Escrow process

• Funds held by Paystack, not Holderlian
• Money released only when buyer confirms delivery
• Auto-release if courier confirms delivery and buyer inactive
• We're not a bank - we facilitate transactions

5. Dispute resolution

• Disputes must be raised within 48 hours of delivery
• Both parties can submit evidence
• We review within 48 hours
• Decisions are final and binding
• We may involve couriers for tracking verification

6. Prohibited items

• Illegal items (drugs, weapons, counterfeit goods)
• Stolen property
• Items that infringe intellectual property
• We cooperate with law enforcement

7. Termination

• We may suspend accounts for violations
• You can close account anytime
• Funds in escrow at closure will be handled per terms

8. Limitation of liability

• We facilitate but don't guarantee transactions
• Not liable for courier issues
• Maximum liability limited to transaction amount

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Disputes subject to Katsina jurisdiction.
